This task is used to dispatch the selected Work Order or Inspection that has been scheduled.

Prerequisites to complete task correctly.

How do you get here?

Work Detail General Information Work Order Summary Dispatch Work

or

Work Detail General Information Inspection Summary Dispatch Work

or

Maintenance Detail General Information Dispatch Work

To dispatch the selected Work Order or Inspection:

  1. Select which Printer you want to send the Work Order or Inspection as well as any other documents to go along with the Work Order or Inspection.

  2. Set the Location/Ship to Address to be included on the Printed Work Order.  When dispatching an Inspection, setting the Location/Ship to Address is not necessary/available.

  3. Update any of the address details as necessary.

  4. Click Next.

  5. On the Print Options step, print out the Work Order or Inspection, as well as any documents included in the “Work Order: Dispatch Work Orders”  or "Inspection: Dispatch Inspection" document group at System Administration > Maintain Documents - Maintain Document Groups.

  6. Click Finished to Dispatch the Work Order or Inspection and print out all necessary documents.
