This task is used to put a work order or inspection on hold.
To put a work order or inspection on hold, follow these steps:
1. Go to Work Detail > General Information > Work Order Summary > Hold Selected Work.
or
Go to Work Detail > General Information > Inspection Summary > Hold Selected Work.
or
Go to Maintenance Detail > General Information > Hold Selected Work.
2. In the Hold Description field, enter a description of why the work order or description is being put on hold. This note will display in the transaction log for the work order or inspection.
3. Click Finished. The status of the work order or inspection switches to Held.
