Release Notes 9.1.30 May 2014 Push

Important Notices for Users:

Several improvements in functionality have been included in this maintenance release of 9.1.  Please check the following release notes for all other enhancements and changes delivered with 9.1:

Property Manager:

·        Household Detail

§        Forms

o       IR 73227 - Part V of the New Hampshire State Tax Credit TIC now only populates when the household is being recertified.

o       IR 75519 - The USDA-MINC Industry Interface Vendor Specifications for Tenant Transactions and Proposed Budgets have been updated to maintain compliance effective May 1, 2014. Additionally, the MFIS system will now batch all Project Worksheets on the 20th of each month to provide consistency and additional time for transactions to be reflected correctly. In order to build the tenant or budget transaction in the new format, please install the 9.1.30 update located on update.bostonpost.com before logging into Property Manager and follow these steps:

       Open the Property Manager 9.1.30 Update Setup Wizard, and then click Next.

       Review the information on the screen about the USDA MINC Industry Interface Update 2014, and then click Next.

       Set the destination location where setup will install the update, and then click Next. The installer will default to the file location for a 64 bit version of Windows. If the user does not have this version, modify the destination to be the following:
C:\Program Files\Bostonpost Technology\Property Manager 9.1.30

       Click Install, and then click Finish when the setup is complete.

       Log on to Property Manager and verify that your database has been updated by going to Help > About. The Forms field will have been updated to display B, instead of A, under both the Client heading and the Database heading.

o       IR 76180 - The Annual Recertification Questionnaire has been updated to maintain compliance.

o       IR 76278 - The Tax Credit Compliance report for Illinois has been updated to maintain compliance.

o       IR 76430 - The California TIC now correctly populates the CTCAC number. Additionally, the system currently generates the CTCAC number from the Community Number field on the Community Detail > Program Info tab. If this number is blank, the system will generate a CTCAC number using the BIN, allocation year, and project number.

o       IR 76496 - The line item for the owner or representative’s signature has been added to the California Self TIC.

o       IR 76522 - A new Michigan TIC has been created for 2014 and the Michigan Detail TIC has been updated to maintain compliance with the 2014 format.

§        General

o       IR 68824 - Users will no longer receive a database error when using the Manage Attachments task for households with a scheduled move-in.

o       IR 76287 - When a move-in needs to be rescheduled, attachments for that move-in are no longer deleted and can only be removed if a user has the appropriate security settings.

§        Members

o       IR 76510 - Foster children are no longer counted as non-family members, regardless of the Eligibility Code selected for the foster child.

§        Transactions

o       IR 73356 - When processing a gross rent change, if a household has a subsequent transaction with attachments, the attachments are now no longer deleted from a certification.

o       IR 76520 - When correcting an Initial Certification that originally passed without error in a community and household that are within the HAP contract count, an error stating that the maximum count set for the contract will no longer display.

§        Program Info

o       IR 77439 - HOME published revisions to some Low HOME Rents and Bostonpost has been updated to maintain compliance.
