Resolve Eviction

This task is used to Resolve an Eviction for a selected household that meet the criteria for filing for Eviction as defined at System Administration > Maintain Lookup Tables - Legal Method and assigned to a community/funding program group at the Community Detail > Rent tab.

To Resolve an Eviction:

  1. Enter/Select the effective date for the resolution of the eviction.

  2. Select the Legal Resolution from the drop down list.

  3. Enter a note/explanation in the Description field if necessary.

  4. Click Next.

  5. If the Legal Resolution was set to Household Evicted or Household Moved-Out and the Move-Out for the household has not yet been scheduled, the next step is to Schedule the Move-Out.
  6. Click Next.

  7. If you have enabled attachments for Legal Transactions at System Administration > Maintain Lookup Tables - Business Constants, the next will be to scan and/or attach any necessary files to this legal transaction (Manage Attachments), otherwise skip to the next step.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Select the Resolve Eviction document you want to print by clicking on it, if more than one is listed.

  10. You can preview the Resolve Eviction document by clicking Preview.

  11. Click Finished to print the Resolve Eviction documents.
