The Schedule To-Do List Activity is used to schedule the Work Order or Inspection (defining the Who and When), find current workers for an emergency request, and assign the work order to a vendor or in-house employee.  Work can be scheduled individual work or by staff/vendor by toggling the Schedule By radio button.

 

Once a Work Order or Inspection has been scheduled, it can be found in the Dispatch To-Do List Activity.  If a Work Order or Inspection is Dispatched at the same time it was scheduled, it will move to the Track Work To-Do List Activity.

 

A list of tasks available here is provided below.

 

To schedule work first select to Schedule By Work or By Staff/Vendor.
 

Schedule by Work:

  1. Select the Work Order or Inspection to be scheduled.

  2. Select to either schedule the Work with a Staff Member (System Administration > Employees) or a Vendor (Vendor Detail > Vendor Locations).

  3. Use the Quick Find drop down list to search for a Staff Member or Vendor by typing in their name.  As you start typing the name, you will be brought to the closest match of what you are looking for.

  4. If Scheduling with a Staff Member, the list of Staff Members is initially filtered down to only those staff who have the skill necessary to perform the work (Match on Skill).  Deselect this parameter to see all available staff.

  5. If Scheduling with a Vendor, the list of vendors is initially filtered down to only those vendors who have the skill necessary to perform the work (Match on Skill).  Deselect this parameter to see all available vendors.

  6. After selecting the Staff/Vendor to schedule the work with and setting the Planned Start Date, start the Schedule Work task.

 

Schedule by Staff/Vendor:

  1. Select to either schedule the Work with a Staff Member (System Administration > Employees) or a Vendor (Vendor Detail > Vendor Locations).

  2. Use the Quick Find drop down list to search for a Staff Member or Vendor by typing in their name.  As you start typing the name, you will be brought to the closest match of what you are looking for.

  3. If Scheduling with a Staff Member, select the staff member to schedule the work with.

  4. If Scheduling with a Vendor, the list of vendors is initially filtered down to only those vendors who have the skill necessary to perform the work (Match on Skill).  Deselect this parameter to see all available vendors.

  5. Select the Work Orders and/or Inspections to be scheduled.  Use the [Ctrl] to select multiple Work Orders and/or Inspections to be scheduled with the selected employee.

  6. After selecting the Staff/Vendor to schedule the work with and setting the Planned Start Date, start the Schedule Work task.
