Modify Selected Inspection Template

This task is used to maintain existing Inspection Templates.  Inspections can be:

Prerequisites to complete task correctly.

How do you get here?

System Administration Maintenance Setup   Select the Templates - Inspections Table Modify Selected Inspection Template

To modify an existing Inspection Template:

  1. Enter the Description for the Inspection Template.

  2. Select the Source for the template.

  3. Select the Deficiency Rating Scheme to be used for Inspections created from this template.

  4. Select the Skill necessary to perform the Inspection.

  5. The Active parameter is selected by default when adding a new template.

  6. Select the communities, management companies and/or maintenance companies that this Inspection Template should be available for.

  7. Set the Default Vendor and/or Default Employee to perform the inspection for each Community/Co selected.

  8. Click Next to select the Location Items to be inspected.

  9. Click Next to setup the necessary schedules of when Inspection should be created for the Inspection Template.

  10. Define a Template Schedule by selecting the:

  11. Depending on which Community, Management Company or Maintenance Company selected for the Template Schedule, select where to Schedule Work In.

  12. Click the Save link to add your first schedule.  Use the Add and Delete links until you have defined all the schedules for the Inspection Template.

  13. Click the Generate Work Now link to create all inspections for the currently selected schedule and locations.  Clicking this link will generate the work and move the Next Date to the next date based on the frequency selected above.

  14. Click Finished when you have added all the necessary Schedules for this Inspection Template.
