This task is used to delete a special claim you have created using the Add New Special Claim task.
The claim can only be deleted if it has not yet been included in a Schedule of Special Claims for Mailing. If the schedule has been created but not yet mailed you can use the Delete Schedule of Special Claims for Mailing task to delete the schedule, and then you can delete the Special Claim. If the schedule has been mailed, you will need to use the Undo Receipt of a Special Claim task.
Unit Detail Special Claims Tab select the claim you want to delete Tasks Delete Special Claim
You can also delete a Special Claim from the Occupancy and Compliance Detail > TRACS > Special Claims Tab
The HUD form will be displayed on the screen.
Click Finished.
An Overall Status window will pop up with a Passed or Failed message.
If it failed you may need to make a correction or contact Bostonpost Client Support at myMRI or contact a Client Support Analyst directly at (877) 579-8896 for assistance.
If it passed click Close.
