This task is used to delete a special claim you have created using the Add New Special Claim Task.
The claim can only be deleted if it has not yet been included in a Schedule of Special Claims for Mailing. If the schedule has been created but not yet mailed you can use the Delete Schedule of Special Claims for Mailing task to delete the schedule, and then you can delete the Special Claim.

You can also delete a Special Claim from the Unit Detail -> Special Claims Tab, where you added it.
Highlight the Contract/Community on the top half of the screen.
Highlight the claim you want to recalculate on the bottom half of the screen
The HUD form will be displayed on the screen.
Click Finished.
An Overall Status window will pop up with a Passed or Failed message.

If it passed click Close.
