This task is the last step in the Manage Vacancy for the Move-In or Transfer process. This will not take place until the date the tenant actually takes possession of the unit. You cannot perform this wizard in advance. The task will make the tenant active in the unit, end any vacancy charges, charge rent and subsidy pro-rated if necessary, and create a security deposit open item.
You will need to certify the Move-In or Transfer first.
The unit must be vacant - be sure the Move-Out for the prior tenant has been confirmed.
You cannot confirm a Move-In or Transfer scheduled for a future date.

Enter the signed dates for both the tenant and owner fields. This is the date the certification was signed.
If another prior unsigned certification exists, you will not be able to complete the confirm step. You will need to take care of the prior unsigned certification before being able to sign this one. This will prevent household certifications from being confirmed out of order.
