This task is used to recalculate a special claim you have already created in the event you have made any changes that need to be reflected on the HUD claim form.
The claim must have already been created in Property Manager using the Add New Special Claim task.
The claim can only be recalculated if it has not yet been included in a Schedule of Special Claims for Mailing. If the schedule has been created but not yet mailed you can use the Delete Schedule of Special Claims for Mailing task, and then recalculate the claim.

You can also recalculate a Special Claim from the Unit Detail -> Special Claims Tab, where you added it.
Highlight the Contract/Community on the top half of the screen.
Highlight the claim you want to recalculate on the bottom half of the screen
Click Tasks and select Recalculate Special Claim
The HUD form will be displayed with any updated dates and/or amounts. To print this updated form click the printer icon in the toolbar.
Click Finished.
An Overall Status window will pop up with a Passed or Failed message.

If it passed click Close.
