This task is used to record the signed dates of a transaction or to edit the previously recorded signed dates. This task will not be available if approval of certifications is required for the Funding Program Group at the Community Detail > Program Info tab. Depending on what type of certification it is, approvals are performed at the Occupancy and Compliance Detail > General, Manage Vacancies and Annual Recertification tabs by the appropriate individuals within your organization.
A certification can be signed when a prior certification has not yet been signed, except when that prior certification is a Gross Rent (GR) change that has not yet been reported.

Enter the date the owner, property manager, or other representative signed the transaction, or select it from the drop-down calendar.
Enter the date the tenant signed the transaction, or select it from the drop-down calendar.
For HUD AR, IR, IC, MI and associated correction certifications, the parameter is "Tenant Unable to Sign" and the user will need to select one of the following extenuating circumstances:
If you have enabled Document Imaging for your database, click Next to add attachments.
If Document Imaging has not been enabled for your database or your Access Role (System Administration > Define Access) does not have access to this functionality, you will just click Next to go onto the next step of the task.

Click Finished.
An Overall Status window will pop up with a Passed or Failed message.
If it failed you may need to make a correction or contact Bostonpost Client Support at myMRI or contact a Client Support Analyst directly at (877) 579-8896 for assistance.
If it passed click Close.
If another prior unsigned certification exists, you will not be able to complete the confirm step. You will need to take care of the prior unsigned certification before being able to sign this one. This will prevent household certifications from being confirmed out of order.
Q. Why is the task failing?
A. If the task fails be sure that the signed dates are not in the future.
