This task is used when the household no longer qualifies for assistance due to not completing the Annual Recertification process. It takes the household off subsidy and creates a new transaction showing the new rent amount.
This task is similar to the Send Notice to Quit task and Terminate Assistance/Begin Eviction task, except the Eviction Type is set to Failure to Recertify. This task begins the Eviction/Legal Process by sending the household a Notice to Quit and placing that household in the File Formal Eviction To-Do List Activity on the Occupancy and Compliance Detail > Legal tab.
This task will only display if the subsidy type is 7 or 8 and the current tenant rent is less than operating rent.
This task is only available for households that are part of a PRAC funding program. Executing this task creates an AR certification that is a copy of the most recent full certification (as amended by subsequent partial certifications) for the household and transmits the AR to TRACS, as well as forces this household to operating rent.
· A legal method needs to be set on the Community Detail > Rent tab for the program.
