This task is only visible if you approve move-ins and transfers as part of the Manage Vacancy process. In this step you will approve move-ins and transfers.
To require approvals for move-ins and transfers, select the "Approval Required for Move-Ins" parameter on the Community Detail > Program Groups tab. This approval parameter is set for each funding program group of a community.
Move-In (MIc) and Unit Transfer (UTc) Corrections are approved from the Occupancy and Compliance Detail > General tab under the Review for Approval To-Do List Activity.
The "Approval Required for Move-Ins" parameter on the Community Detail > Program Groups tab has been selected, and the move-in or transfer certification has been created.

If the certification has already been through the approval process and been rejected, the first step of the task will display the certification's approval history. If this is the first time this task has been accessed for this certification, skip to step 3.
Click Next.
Use this step to review these certifications to make sure they are correct.
Click Next.
If you have enabled Document Imaging for your database, click Next to add attachments.
If Document Imaging has not been enabled for your database or your Access Role (System Administration > Define Access) does not have access to this functionality, you will just click Next to go onto the next step of the task.

Review all the member details to make sure they are reasonable and correct.
Click Next.
Review all the income & expense details to make sure they are reasonable and correct.
Click Next.
Select Yes or No for whether or not you approve this certification and enter a comment.
Comments are required when you disapprove a certification.
Click Finished.
After completing this task, households will move on to the next activity in the To-Do List. Certifications that have not been Approved will go back to the Certify Move-In/Transfer To-Do List Activity marked with a red flag indicating that the certification failed approval.
