Use this task to maintain an existing Project.  If more than one Work Order and/or Inspection is required for a reported Problem or Request, those Work Orders and/or Inspections can be grouped together in a Project.  Projects allow you to link independent Work Orders and/or Inspections.  Independent Work Orders and/or Inspections are closed as they are completed, and the Project remains open until all of its Work has been completed.

 

If you remove all Work Items from the selected Project, the Project itself will also be deleted.

To Maintain the Selected Project:

  1. Project Description - make changes to the description for your project.

  2. Click the Add Work link to add Work Orders and/or Inspections to the Project.

  3. For each existing Work Order and/or Inspection in the Project, click the Action button.

  4. The Add Work to a Project popup is the same as the Find Work popup.

  5. After setting your search criteria and clicking the Search button, select one or more Work Orders and/or Inspections to add to the Project.

  6. Click OK after selecting all the work to be added.

  7. Click the Add Work link to add additional work that didn't meet your search criteria the first time through.

  8. Click Finished once you made all your changes to the Project.
