Transmit/Retransmit File

The task opens the  MINC web site in browser with in Property Manager (click here for screen shot) to load the selected Transmission file.  It will pre-fill text on window or clipboard with selected row from file list window to help with browse button provided by MINC. when browser closes present transmitted tab window to mark file as transmitted.

The task only transmits the highlighted file.

Prerequisites to complete task correctly.

• A MINC Transmission File has already been created.

How do you get here?

Occupancy and Compliance Detail MINC Transmission Files Tasks Transmit/Retransmit File

To Transmit/Retransmit MINC File:

1. Log onto the MINC web site.

   • The URL for the MINC web site is maintained at System Administration > Maintain Lookup Tables - Business Constants.

2. Copy the File Name (including the path) into the click into MINC's file browse.

   • The complete path and file name is included in the "Instructions On Transmitting..." title bar at the top of the window.

   • This file path and name has been copied into your clipboard when you entered this task.  When you get to MINC's file browse, just use [Ctrl]+V to paste it in without having to retype it on MINC's web site.

3. Click Next once you have completed the process of transmitting the file on MINC's web site.

4. Select Yes or No for "Was the file transmitted successfully?"

5. Click Finished.

   • If you Selected No, you will get the message "File Status has not updated."
