Add New Business

You can use this task to add a new business that can be used as a reference.

To add a new business, follow these steps:

1.         Go to Business Detail > General.

2.         Go to Tasks > Add New Business.

3.         In the Search Criteria area, enter information in the Business Name, City, or State fields, and then click Search to see if the business has already been added to Property Manager.

4.         After verifying that the business has not been added to Property Manager, click New.

Note

The New button does not become available until after you have searched for the business.

 

5.         In the General Information area, complete the fields and options:

        Business Name—Enter the business name.

        Web Site—Enter the business' website URL.

        Preferred Reference?—Select the check box if the business is a preferred reference.

6.         In the Address area, enter the address of the business.

7.         In the Phone area, enter the phone numbers of the business.

Note

For more information about the fields and options, refer to the Business Detail > General topic.

If the business is a vendor that can be used in Accounts Payable Detail or Work Order Detail, select the Active Vendor check box.

 

8.         Click Finished.
