Available Choices:
Tenant Anniversary
All Annual Recertifications will occur on the first anniversary date of a household’s move-in (or initial certification when a household swaps into a tax credit program)
Same Date for All Tenants - set the Funding Program Group date
All Annual Recertifications will occur on the date set for the Funding Program Group.
Alternate Date for Tenant
When this is selected, you will have the opportunity to enter an alternate recertification date at a household's move-in (or initial certification when a household swaps into a tax credit program) at the Create Certification step.
This choice is not available for USDA Funding Program Groups.
1st Anniversary then Group Date - set the Funding Program Group date
The first Annual Recertification will occur on the first anniversary date of a household’s move-in (or initial certification when a household swaps into a tax credit program) and then subsequent Annual Recertifications will occur on the same date for all households.
1st Anniversary then Alternate Date
The first Annual Recertification will occur on the first anniversary date of a household’s move-in (or initial certification when a household swaps into a tax credit program) and then subsequent Annual Recertifications will occur on the alternate date set for the household.
When this is selected, you will have the opportunity to enter this alternate recertification date at a household's move-in (or initial certification when a household swaps into a tax credit program) at the Create Certification step.
FULL cert every three years after MI cert (Tax Credit only)
The first Annual Recertification will occur on the 3rd anniversary date of a household's move-in (or initial certification when a household swaps into a tax credit program) and then subsequent Annual Recertifications will occur every 3 years. Self Certifications do not occur in the off years.

Tax Credit Alt. Schedule - If a Tax Credit Funding Program in the Funding Program Group needs a separate/alternate certification schedule then other Funding Programs in the Funding Program Group, the alternate schedule is set here.

This column will only appear when you have one funding program with Tax Credit Rules Apply and another Funding Program that is not Tax Credit.

If USDA and Tax Credit are on independent schedules, it will only be for the first USDA certification. When the Tax Credit Annual Recertification is created, it will also be a USDA recertification and the USDA Schedule will be in sync with Tax Credit.
Number of Days Show Notice before Due - Enter the number of days to start showing notices on the Occupancy & Compliance and Annual Recertification Tabs before they are due.
First, Second & Third Notice - Enter the number of days before the Annual Recertification date that each notice is due.
These numbers have been defaulted to First Notice = 120, Second Notice = 90, Third Notice = 60, and Number of Days to Show Notice before Due = 15. With these settings, first notices are due 120 days before the Annual Recertification date, and they would start showing on the Occupancy & Compliance and the Annual Recertification Tabs 15 days before that, i.e. 135 days before the annual recertification date.
Approval Required - if selected, Annual Recertifications created for this community/funding program group will be required to go through an approval step on the Occupancy & Compliance Detail > Annual Recertification tab.
Allow Skip Steps - Checking this box will allow users to skip the first three steps during the Annual Recertification Process: Send Notices, Obtain Tenant Signatures and Verify References.
