This task is used to create amenity rent changes for amenities in an amenity funding program group. Prior to completing this task, there must be an amenity rent plan set up for the amenity.
To update amenity rents, follow these steps:
1. Go to Community Detail > Rent Tab.
2. Select the amenity program group and the effective date of the rent plan schedule.
3. Go to Tasks > Update Amenity Rents.
4. A list of amenities and households in the amenity program group appears. To exclude amenities from the rent update, clear the check box in the Include column for the amenity.
5. To create amenity rent changes for the selected amenities and households, click Update....
6. A window appears, which reads "Update Amenity Rent for # amenities?" To proceed, click OK. To return to the amenity list, click Cancel.
7. A Results window appears indicating if the task passed or failed. If the task passed, click Close.
8. To complete the task, click Finished.
