Reference Type  

On this table, you can add and maintain reference types. Reference types are assigned to a household's references on the Household Detail > References tab. Reference types are also used for printable reference forms created on the System Administration > Maintain Documents tab when you click Document Properties.

On this table, review or complete the following fields and options:

            ID—(System-generated) Displays the unique ID number for the reference type.

            Code—Enter a short code for the reference type.

            Description—Enter a description for the reference type.

            Sort Order—Enter the order in which you want to display the reference types when adding a new reference to a household on the Household Detail > References tab.

            Active—Select the check box to make the reference type active.

Note

If a reference type has not been used in Property Manager, you can delete the unused reference type. However, MRI Software recommends making the reference type inactive by clearing the Active check box.

 

            Income Related—Select the check box if the reference type is related to household income and expenses.

            Student Related—Select the check box if the reference type is related to the student status of a household member.

            Employer Related—Select the check box if the reference type is related to the employer of a household member.
