The Historical Adjustment file is needed when the PHA/management agent is unable to submit a move in transaction to PIC in cases where household information has never been submitted but the household has been living in the community for years.

 

The certifications listed in the task will be for all authorized communities for the user.

How do you get here?

Occupancy and Compliance Detail PIC Tasks Build PIC Historical Adjustment File

To Build PIC Historical Adjustment File:

  1. Select the Contract from the drop down list.

  2. Enter the date of the Transmission (which defaults to first of current month)

  3. Click Next.

  4. You will see a list of all Public Housing certifications to be included in the historical adjustment file.

  5. Select one, more or all certifications listed.

  6. Click Next to build the transmission file and run the HUD 50058 Validator.

  7. Review the file just created.

  8. Choose destination email address (editable) or web transmission.

  9. Click Next.

  10. Log onto the PIC web site (if not sending via email).

  11. Copy the File Name (including the path) into the click into PIC's file browse.

  12. Click Next once you have completed the process of transmitting the file on PIC's web site.

  13. Select Yes or No for "Was the file transmitted successfully?"

  14. Click Finished.

  15. Click Finished.
