This task is used to add a new waitlist entry for an existing household without sending an application, for the purpose of moving the household into a community and/or unit class that is different from the current active waitlist entries that were created by the processing of the application, or application for a transfer.

How do you get here?

Household Detail Waitlist Tab or Manage Vacancies Tab Tasks Add New Waitlist Entry

To Add a New Waitlist Entry:

  1. Select all communities/funding programs for which you want to create a new waitlist entries by clicking on the line(s) to highlight them.  To de-select a line click it again.

  2. Click Next.

  3. For each household member enter any additional information that is required in the funding program(s) for which the applicant has applied.  The required fields will be marked with *

  4. Click Next.

  5. Enter the Apply Date.

  6. Check off any appropriate optional boxes for this household.

  7. Check off the bedroom size(s) for which this household is waiting.

  8. If the household has a 3rd party voucher choose the Voucher Source from the drop-down list.

  9. If you want to set a waitlist preference for the household select it from the drop-down list.

  10. Click Next.

  1. Select any available documents you want to print by checking the box next to the document name.

  2. Specify the number of copies you want for each document.

  1. Click Finished.

  2. A pop-up will appear stating "You have successfully created an application for this household."  Click OK.
