Reschedule Move-Out

This task is used to reschedule a Move-Out to change the date.   If the household is also renting an Amenity, this task will change the return date of the amenity which was also scheduled to be returned.

To Redo the Schedule step of the Move-Out:

  1. Select Redo next to  1. Schedule Move-Out

  2. Move-Out Notification Date: If applicable, you may enter a new date for the Move-Out notification or select it from the drop-down calendar.

  1. New Out Date: Enter the new date for the Move-Out or select it from the drop-down calendar.

  2. New Actual Outdate: This is the date the tenant is physically leaving the unit and will not affect the receivables. This is an optional date and is not usually used. An example of this date would be a tenant who pays through the end of the month but leaves earlier - you intend to have them active for the month and charge them but want maintenance to know they can begin the turnover sooner.

  3. Select the Move-Out reason. There are a number of reasons available. Click here for details: Move-Out Reason

  4. Enter a turnover note if necessary to help communicate any special needs for the unit.

  5. Click Next.

An Overall Status window will pop up with a Passed or Failed message.

If it failed you may need to make a correction or contact Bostonpost Client Support at myMRI or contact a Client Support Analyst directly at (877) 579-8896 for assistance.

If it passed click Close.

  1. Select any available documents you want to print by checking the box next to the document name.

  2. Specify the number of copies you want for each document.

  1. Click Finished.

  2. A pop-up message will appear stating "You have successfully scheduled a move-out for this household." Click OK.
