This task is used to offer an available unit in one of the communities for which the household has an active waitlist entry. Completion of this task will add a Waitlist Transaction with the type of "Offer Unit", which shows that an offer has been made to a selected unit to the household.
There must be active waitlist entries on the Waitlist tab of the household.
Household Detail Waitlist Tab Tasks Offer Unit
Select the waitlist entry you wish to use from the list of active waitlist rows.
Select the unit that you are offering from the list of vacant units.
Additional Information - add any additional information you want. This field is optional.
Click Next.
An Overall Status window will pop up with a Passed or Failed message.
If it failed you may need to make a correction or contact Bostonpost Client Support at myMRI or contact a Client Support Analyst directly at (877) 579-8896 for assistance.
If it passed click Close.
Select any available documents you want to print by checking the box next to the document name.
You can also use the Select All and Deselect All links to help in making your selections.
Documents included in the "Manage Waitlist: Unit Offer" Document Group (System Administration > Maintain Documents - Maintain Document Groups) will be included in the list of available documents.
Specify the number of copies you want for each document.
You can preview many of the documents in Microsoft Word, make changes, and print them within Microsoft Word by clicking the preview icon.
Click Finished.
A pop-up will appear stating "You have successfully offered a unit to the selected waitlist entry." Click OK.
