This task is used to modify both household and lease information for more than one conventional household. These are households who do not require an Annual Recertification or an Annual Non-Financial Update.
Occupancy and Compliance Detail Leases Tab Tasks Batch Lease Renewal
A conventional household. These are households who do not require an Annual Recertification or an Annual Non-Financial Update.
Enter/select the range of lease end dates to specify which leases are to be included in the task to be updated.
Click Next.
Depending on what the Rent Change Rules are for the Funding Program Group (Community Detail > Rent tab), the selected households are in, you may or may not be able to make changes to rent with the Lease Renewal/Change.
If you are allowed to change an amount, make the changes in the New Amount column of with window.
Select the "Show Rent Only" parameter so see only rent charges. Please note the “Show Rent Only” check box only hides the rows for other charges. Any changes made to those rows before they were hidden will be made when you click Next to this step in the task.
Click Next.
Use the Select All and Deselect All links or manual select individual households to create their leases.
Set the Lease Term for each Lease to be created.
If Other is selected, enter the Lease End Date.
Click Next.
An Overall Status window will pop up with a Passed or Failed message.
If you are unable to identify and correct the reason or reasons for failure, copy the failed message into an email and contact Bostonpost Client Support at myMRI or contact a Client Support Analyst directly at (877) 579-8896 for assistance.
If the Overall Status passed, click Close.
Select the available forms you want to print by clicking the box next to the document name.
You can also use the Select All and Deselect All links to help in making your selections.
Documents included in the "Lease Review: Review Lease" Document Group (System Administration > Maintain Documents - Maintain Document Groups) will be included in the list of available documents.
Specify the number of copies you want for each document.
You can preview many of the documents in Microsoft Word, make changes, and print them within Microsoft Word by clicking the preview icon.
Documents to be included on this Print Option step are set at the System Administration > Maintain Documents tab under Maintain Document Groups (Group = "Lease Review: Review Lease") The list of documents will be further filtered down by the Document Selection Criteria under Maintain Documents.
Enter Additional Information as needed by any of the selected documents. I.e. - Send Date and Return Date.
Click Finished to print the documents you selected.
A pop-up will appear stating "You have successfully certified these households." Click OK
