This task is used to modify both household and lease information for more than one conventional household.  These are households who do not require an Annual Recertification or an Annual Non-Financial Update.

Prerequisites to complete task correctly.

To Perform the Batch Lease Renewal:

  1. Enter/select the range of lease end dates to specify which leases are to be included in the task to be updated.

  2. Click Next.

  3. Depending on what the Rent Change Rules are for the Funding Program Group (Community Detail > Rent tab), the selected households are in, you may or may not be able to make changes to rent with the Lease Renewal/Change.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Use the Select All and Deselect All links or manual select individual households to create their leases.

  6. Set the Lease Term for each Lease to be created.

  7. Click Next.

  8. An Overall Status window will pop up with a Passed or Failed message.

  9. If the Overall Status passed, click Close.

  10. Select the available forms you want to print by clicking the box next to the document name.

  11. Specify the number of copies you want for each document.

  12. Enter Additional Information as needed by any of the selected documents.  I.e. - Send Date and Return Date.

  13. Click Finished to print the documents you selected.

  14. A pop-up will appear stating "You have successfully certified these households."  Click OK
