This task is used to delete a GL Chart of Accounts in Property Manager. GL Chart of Accounts can only be deleted if the accounts in it have not been used. If any of the accounts are assigned to a Charge Type, Voucher Source, or have been assigned in the past and appear in Event History, you cannot delete the Chart of Accounts.
To delete a GL Chart of Account, follow these steps:
1. Go to System Administration > Accounting Setup Tab.
2. Select the Chart of Accounts that you want to delete.
3. Go to Tasks > Delete GL Chart.
4. A message window appears asking to confirm that you want to delete the selected Chart of Accounts.
5. To delete the selected Chart of Accounts, click Yes.

To cancel or select a different Chart of Accounts, click No.
6. The Results window appears. If the task passed, click Close.
