De-Activate GL Chart

This task is used to de-activate a GL Chart of Accounts.

To de-activate a GL Chart of Accounts, follow these steps:

1.         Go to System Administration > Accounting Setup Tab.

2.         Select the Chart of Accounts that you want to de-activate.

3.         Go to Tasks > De-Activate GL Chart. The Chart of Accounts is de-activated once you click the task, and a message indicating the Chart of Accounts has been de-activated appears.

Re-Activate GL Chart

This task is used to re-activate an inactive GL Chart of Accounts.

To re-activate an inactive GL Chart of Accounts, follow these steps:

1.         Go to System Administration > Accounting Setup Tab.

2.         Select the inactive Chart of Accounts that you want to re-activate. When an inactive GL Chart of Accounts is selected, a message reading "This Chart of Accounts had been De-Activated" is displayed.

3.         Go to Tasks > Re-Activate GL Chart. The Chart of Accounts is re-activated once you click the task.
