This tab is where you select all the locations available for the community and define the items of each location selected. Locations are defined/created at System Administration > Maintenance Setup - Locations. Only Locations that are Active and apply to the Community Level will be listed on this tab. Items are defined at System Administration > Maintenance Setup - Location Items for each Location. Where a Location Applies is set by which Location Type (System Administration > Maintenance Setup - Location Type Items) it is assigned to.
Locations and Location Items can be set as "Always Present" under System Administration > Maintenance Setup. Locations are set as Always Present on the System Administration > Maintenance Setup - Locations table and Location Items are set as Standard on the System Administration > Maintenance Setup - Location Type Items for each Location Type they are assigned to. They will be listed here selected with a Lock Icon and cannot be deselected.
Click on the Selected column twice in the Location or Item data windows to bring all the selected Locations or Items for the community to the top of the list. Clicking on any of the column headings in either data window will sort the list by the column.
All locations that have Items defined for it on this tab will have a check mark (
). To select a Location and its applicable Items, select that Location if it is not selected already and select all the applicable Items from the Item List. Once a Location has been selected and defined with the appropriate Items, it will be displayed on the Community Detail > Maintenance > Task Tracking tab. If you clear the check mark for all Items of a selected Location, that Location will not be selected up saving your changes.
If you need to maintain the Maintenance Definition for more than one unit, that can be done with the Maintain Unit Definitions task. This task is used to maintain Maintenance Definitions for one or more selected units in the community. This is a batch process task allowing you to maintain the Maintenance Definition of more than one unit at a time.
Additionally, if you need to maintain deficiencies for a single item, you can do so with the Maintain Deficiencies for Selected Item task.
