AA - Prev exception
Tenant was admitted to the Section 8 program before the project received HUD’s 6/29/84 memorandum, and the tenant started receiving assistance before 8/1/84. This code cannot be used on new Move-Ins, only for tenants who previously received this code.
EP - Projected based exception
Tenant was admitted under HUD approved Project-based exceptions.
For a Household that is being moved into a HUD program with an exception code, the certification will be marked as DNX (household will be counted as Terminated from the move in effective date when HUD rules apply) because a Move-In Certification with $0 subsidy will be rejected.

<None> – this selection made when no waiver has been granted. It should be noted that Owner/Agent do not always need a written HUD waiver to move in or initial certify unqualified household.
AGE – Age waiver for an elderly property (restricted not preference)
INC – Income (For HUD subsidy types other than Section 8). You will not be able to select this code if the household is counted in a funding program where the subsidy type is Section 8
NEAR – Near Elderly
DSBL – Waiver for a non-disabled person to move in to a property for the disabled (e.g. 811 PRAC)
