When a general ledger batch is exported to an accounting software after a payment is made towards a note payable (HUD repayment agreement), the batch is now balanced in both cash basis and accrual basis. Previously, the payment would be debited to the correct account without an associated credit, which resulted in an unbalanced batch. |
