This task is used to change, add or delete unit class information for a community.

How do you get here?

Community Detail Facilities Tab Tasks Maintain Unit Classes

To Edit a Unit Class:

  1. Make any changes to the fields for that unit class.

  2. Right-click and select Save or click the Save icon in your toolbar.

To Add a Unit Class:

  1. Right-click and select Add

  2. Enter a description for the new unit class.

  3. Select the number of Bedrooms by clicking the Up arrow or entering the number.

  4. Select the number of Bathrooms - 0, .5, 1, 1.5, etc.

  5. Select the Max Persons by clicking the Up arrow or entering the number, if applicable

  6. Select the Min Persons by clicking the Up arrow or entering the number, if applicable

  7. Select a Sort Order for this unit class by clicking the Up arrow or enter the number

  8. Enter the Security Deposit amount for this unit class if the Security Deposit Method for the community is "Fixed Rate by Bedroom Size" (Community Detail > Program Groups tab)

  9. Select a Size Description from the drop-down list, if applicable.

  10. Right-click and select Save or click the Save icon in your toolbar.

To Delete a Unit Class:

  1. Highlight the Description of the unit class you want to delete.

  2. Right-click and select Delete

  3. Right-click and select Save or click the Save icon in your toolbar.
