This task is used to change, add or delete unit class information for a community.
Community Detail Facilities Tab Tasks Maintain Unit Classes
Make any changes to the fields for that unit class.
Right-click and select Save or click the Save icon in your toolbar.
Right-click and select Add
Enter a description for the new unit class.
Select the number of Bedrooms by clicking the Up arrow or entering the number.
Select the number of Bathrooms - 0, .5, 1, 1.5, etc.
Select the Max Persons by clicking the Up arrow or entering the number, if applicable
Select the Min Persons by clicking the Up arrow or entering the number, if applicable
Select a Sort Order for this unit class by clicking the Up arrow or enter the number
Enter the Security Deposit amount for this unit class if the Security Deposit Method for the community is "Fixed Rate by Bedroom Size" (Community Detail > Program Groups tab)
Select a Size Description from the drop-down list, if applicable.
Right-click and select Save or click the Save icon in your toolbar.
Highlight the Description of the unit class you want to delete.
Right-click and select Delete
You cannot delete a Unit Class that has ever contained Units, even if the Unit Class is currently empty of Units.
Right-click and select Save or click the Save icon in your toolbar.
If you deleted the wrong unit class click the back arrow before saving. A pop-up message will ask "Do you want to save changes?", Click No and the deletion of the unit class will not be saved. You can then select the task again and delete the correct unit class.
