This task is used to lock a unit into a counted layer. Highlight a Transaction in the Transaction History on the Unit Detail > Compliance / Rent / Transaction History tab and then select this task from the task list. The task will indicate the effective date of the action being taken. If there are transactions after the one for which the task is performed, you will need to run this task for each of those transactions if you want the Unlocked, Locked in Layer or Locked in Program status to carryforward to those transactions. Transactions created after this lock status is changed, will inherit the new status.
Unit Detail Compliance/Rent/Transaction History Tab Tasks Maintain Unit Locked Status - dd/mm/yyyy
All funding programs and layers will be displayed with their Current Status.
Select a New Status for each funding program and layer displayed to be:
Unlocked
Locked in Layer
Locked in Program
Click Finished.
An Overall Status window will pop up with a Passed or Failed message.

If it passed click Close.
