Bostonpost Property Manager allows you to export financial data from your communities and import this information into your corresponding MRI system. The Launch MRI Financials icon takes you straight from your work in Bostonpost Property Manager to your MRI Financials database.
Note
The Launch MRI Financials icon will not be available on the Property Manager Toolbar if the MRI Financials setup has not been completed for any communities in the database.
To set up a community to operate with MRI Financials, follow these steps:
1. Go to System Administration > Accounting Setup tab.
2. Select Export Information Setup.
3. In the Export Entity List, select the community for which you want to complete the MRI Financials export setup.
4. From the GL Export Type drop-down list, select MRI Web Service. For more detailed information about the Web Service setup, see Export Information Setup - MRI Web Service.
5. Click Save.
6. The Launch MRI Financials icon won't appear on the Property Manager Toolbar immediately. To get the icon to appear, after the setup, open a new session of Bostonpost Property Manager by clicking the New Session icon or relaunching the program from your desktop.
To set up an export URL for MRI Financials, follow these steps:
1. Go to System Administration > Maintain Lookup Tables tab.
2. From the Lookup Table to Maintain drop-down list, select Business Constants.
3. In the Export URLs area of the Business Constants window, in the MRI Financials URL field, enter the URL.
4. Click Save.
