Sign Promissory Note and Related Certs

This task is used to indicate that a promissory note and related certs have been signed.

The task is only available when you have selected a Community in context.

Prerequisites to complete task correctly.

• An AR back-dated correction occurred.

• An unsigned promissory note is created for the correction.

How do you get here?

To sign the promissory note and related certs:

1. Enter the Note Effective Date.

2. Enter the Owner Signed Date.

3. Enter the Tenant Signed Date or select the Tenant Unable To Sign box if the tenant cannot sign the promissory notes and related certs.

   • If the tenant is unable to sign, select an extenuating circumstance from the drop-down menu.

   • • 1 = Medical

     • 2 = Late annual certification due to accommodation or extenuating circumstances

     • 3 = Late annual certification due to owner/agent delay

     • 4 = Late annual certification due to third party delay

     • 5 = Military Deployment

     • 6 = Eviction

     • 7 = Court order

     • 8 = No Signature Required (Retroactive GR done after a MO or a GR correction to a previously transmitted 50059 form where the only change is the GR modification of the contract  rent and where none of the TTP, Tenant Rent, or Utility Allowance are changed).

     • 9 = No signature required for 60 days (based on anticipated voucher reported on date). An example would be a retroactive GR causing a correction to a previously transmitted 50059 form and where any of the TTP, Tenant Rent, or Utility Allowance are changed. A signature is required but the cert may be transmitted immediately and the signature collected within 60 days.

     • 10 = Other

4. Review the listed promissory note and related certs. This information is read only and is for reference purposes only.
