Review the Household/Transaction tab for Certifications.
You may be missing the latest cert.
You may need to delete an incorrect cert that should never be transmitted.
You may need to rebuild the existing cert to pick up the latest member or income/expense information.
You may need to verify that the unit rent is correct for the unit.
To review the unit rent for the unit, go to the Unit View/Compliance-Rent-Transaction History tab.
If there is a pending rent change – you will still see the rent effective as of today in the upper right hand Rent Plan section. To verify the upcoming rent change, look at the Transaction History by date at the bottom of the window. Each row shows the rent, utility allowance and gross potential in effect on that date. Your upcoming rent change information should show here on the top row.
If there is no pending rent change, review the Actual Rent in the upper right hand corner. This should be the last rent that was certified for this household. If Actual Rent is wrong but Plan Rent is correct, you have not certified a Gross Rent Change. Or if the Plan Rent is also incorrect, you will need to modify the Rent Plan. Either way, go to the Community view/Rent tab to complete these tasks.
The transaction tab should have a signed cert that reflects the correct subsidy to be requested effective on the HAP date.
The Household/Accounting/Subsidy tab Current Scheduled Item should reflect the correct subsidy amount.
The Event History should show that subsidy amount being billed on Billing or Billing Correction events.
