HAP - Housing Assistance Payments paid to the owner by HUD or the Contract Administrator (CA).
HUD 52670 - Housing Owners Certification and Application for Housing Assistance Payments Form. This is the actual form used to request Housing Assistance Payments. It's also known as the paper copy or HAP summary page.

TRACS - HUD's database used for collecting and storing tenant information and subsidy payment history for all project-based subsidy contracts. TRACS stands for Tenant Rental Assistance Certification System.
MAT Record - Monthly Activity Transmission data file sent to the TRACS database through an electronic mailbox
MAT 30 record- The name of the electronic file used to report the information on form HUD-52670 to the TRACS database
HUD-52670-A Part 1 - The actual form used to report the Schedule of Tenant Assistance Payments Due. Also know as the HAP detail page. This page is not part of the electronic file.
Appendix 10 (4350.3) - Instructions for preparing Form HUD-52670-A Part 1.
Prepare a separate form HUD-52670 for each of the property's assistance contracts to report the following:
Regular tenant assistance payments and adjustments; and
Approved special claims.
The owner must submit all of the information requested on these forms electronically to TRACS.
