This task is used to add new units to the community.

Enter the number of units to create.
Enter the effective date.
Please note that the Effective Date of the units to be added with this task must be prior to any possible move-in dates for these units. For example, if the earliest possible move-in date for any of these units is 01/01/2010, then this Effective Date must be on 12/31/2009 or prior. You will receive a failing error message on a Schedule Move-In/Transfer if the effective date of the move-in is on or before the effective date of the addition of the new unit.
You may enter default information for the following:
Unit Address
Moderate Rehabilitation
HQS Inspection
You must make selections in the following fields:
Unit Identification
Unit Class
Choose participation in program groups and select the contract and/or BIN number.
Click Next.
A pop-up window will appear asking if you want to create X number of units. Click OK to create the unit(s).
Assign the information for each apartment number and set the sort order for the units.
Click Finished.
